New Favorite -Baked Oatmeal

We have a new favorite for breakfast, Baked Oatmeal.  It is so yummy and easy. 
This is the recipe we have been enjoying- I add cinnamon.
Here is another one that looks yummy and has some flax seed, plus makes a larger amount but is individually portioned.  If you try one of these recipes or have one of your own- let me know.

  1. Baked Oatmeal is what I make EVERY Sunday morning...we love it, and fight over the leftovers (now that I double the recipe, before there wouldn't be enough!). Our recipe (doubled) is:

    3 C Oatmeal (quick oats)
    1 C Sugar
    1/2 C Butter or margarine, melted
    1 C Milk
    2 Eggs
    2 tsp Vanilla
    2 tsp Baking powder

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all together. Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Dump in the oatmeal mixture and bake for 30 minutes.

    Add anything to the oatmeal - we like just adding milk, but you can put raisins, brown sugar, nuts, etc.

    YUM!
