Weekend

We had the perfect weekend. Bill has worked the last seven Saturdays in a row! Normally he works every other Saturday but he picked up a few extra days since things have been slow and then he had to work a home show one weekend. It has been a major treat to have him around two whole days in a row. Saturday we spent almost the entire day outside. Bill had the kids out with him in the morning while I worked on some inside chores. Lunch for everyone and then nap for Griffin. Sydney cuddled on my bed while I read some of my book. When Griffin work up the kids had a snack and we headed back outside. We walked around the yard, picked some goldenrod and went for a short walk. We came in and I made dinner for Bill and the kids and then my friend Ellie picked me up. We went out to dinner at Bonefish (my first time, delicious) and then went to a movie.
Sunday was rainy so we had pancakes and stayed in our pjs. We played, and snuggled on the couch. Sydney and I made cinnamon swirl bread. Everyone took a nap except for me. I prepped some food for the week. Bill grilled steaks in the rain and we just hung out together. It was a fabulous weekend at our house. How was your weekend?
