The Beach

We only went to the beach one time while on our vacation, some people would think this is crazy but we like variety and also since we were not staying right on the beach it is just easier. We have another beach trip planned for August for my CME week and we will be staying right on the beach. So anyway one day Bill played Golf with our friend Wade (the first time he has played all year despite the fact that we live on a golf course) and I took the kids to the beach with Missy and her son Nate. Wade and Missy have a family condo on the beach so it makes parking and getting everything down on the beach easy. I just had to take this picture, Griffin's first trip to the beach.

Isn't he adorable? He was happy until the water hit him then he shed a few tears.

He is just one of the cutest things I have ever held.

Missy found a conch shell with the conch still inside. Sydney loves all animals so she was petting it and it actually took a bit of convincing to throw it back into the water.

Syd and Nate played and built a sand castle.

Griffin played in the sand and surprisingly did not try to eat it.

Although he thought about it.

All in all it was a wonderful day at the beach!
