walks

We went on some very long walks on vacation, every single day 3-4 miles. We do enjoy the exercise and also it gives us all a chance to talk and just spend time together. Most days we went in the morning before it got too hot. Some days we went walking in the evening and some days both. At times Sydney walked or ran.

Griffin always rode. He prefers to prop his feet up. He stays awake looking at the scenery for a while and then usually took a little nap.

Sydney often went in her pjs which is just fine because it was vacation.



Bill and I usually took our coffee and Syd sometimes took a small snack.

Griffin is actually a great stroller baby. He will ride for hours and some days he did.

We saw some beautiful flowers. I am not sure what this one is called. Does anyone know?

The magnolias were amazing.

Is there a more perfect flower?

So white and crisp

I do not think I had ever seen a magnolia tree until moving to NC. They are beautiful but they do not stay in bloom very long. Steel Magnolias is one of my favorite movies.

We also saw a few creatures while out walking. Since the condo was on a golf course there were several ponds and turtles!

And of course lizards! We have lots of these guys at our house and they live at the beach also.
