..we go inside!
It has been so HOT, I lost track of the number of days over 90 and close to 100.
We have had days where the heat index is between 105-110 and that is just too hot for me and for Bill and the kids. So a few weekends ago we decided to go inside the Children's Museum for the day.

Griffin loved standing up to the train table and playing with trains and tearing up the track.

Meanwhile Sydney added fuel to the engine and packed her suitcase to go for a ride (well a pretend ride)

Bill pretended to eat pizza at the cafe

Sydney of course was his waitress

I love how Griffin sits with his feet crossed
see his little tongue, so sweet

Sydney drove the plane and I was a passenger

Sydney loved finding every item on this screen
We played in the doctors office with crutches

Griffin played on baby toys
He played drums, so happy
Sydney worked the sound booth in the theater

and so did our friend Max!
As we were walking into the museum I was asking Sydney
if she remembered the last time we were at the museum for her friend Max's birthday party. We turned a corner and there was Max and his mom Nicole!

The sound panel was so fun, the kids could control the lights and also sounds effects.
There was a really animated voice that said "It's Showtime" so funny

We had a wonderful time! When we left the museum we had a real treat and went out to dinner (we really do not eat out much at all) and then got a piece of cheesecake at Cheesecake by Alex-yummy!
Looks like a blast. Wow! I wanna try the emergency exit on the plane. That would be so fun.
ReplyDeleteYou've got to beat the heat some how and what a great way to learn and pretend.
